School Bus Management System 

In the lead up to the new school year, all travellers (existing and new) wishing to access School Bus Program services, are required to login to the School Bus Management System and submit their travel applications for the NEW school year.

The College wishes to stress to parents that safety is our number one priority. If your child is not registered and is still travelling on a bus, then the School Bus Management System and College records will not have them as listed to catch the bus. In the event of an incident or a need to stop the bus, we will not know that firstly, your child is on the bus and we will not know to contact you.

Existing Travellers

If you are already registered, and your child is a past/existing traveller who wishes to continue to travel on the school bus.

Please login to the School Bus Management System, to renew your application: schoolbus.educationapps.vic.gov.au. See Diagram 1 below. You may wish to review the User Guide.

New Travellers

All new families seeking access to School Bus Program services for the first time will need to register on the School Bus Management System at schoolbus.educationapps.vic.gov.au.

Once registered, families will be able to add travellers and submit travel applications online. (Choose Pakenham network, and the relevant bus service and term)

Beaconhills College is unable to provide advice about bus stops, as these are determined by the coordinator and allocated by PTV.

New Travellers Living Closer to the Berwick Campus but attending the Pakenham Campus

For new families applying for school bus travel and who live closer to the Berwick Campus, the School Bus Management System requires them to be a fare payer as they are bypassing their nearest school.  The exception would be if the family lives in excess of 4.8km of the Berwick Campus bus and have a closer bus service to Pakenham or alternatively, the student is unable to be enrolled in Berwick as the school has reached its capacity.

In both instances, the family would need to seek a letter for the School confirming this and then submit this evidence with their application(PakDailyOrg@beaconhills.vic.edu.au) by email and you will  receive a letter of exemption for the family.

School Bus Services (PTV and DET) Operated by Ventura Bus Lines (MET/Myki)

Parents are advised to please check the Ventura Website at https://www.venturabus.com.au/live-tracking?type=2  for any bus service enquiries.
Please click School Bus Services and enter Beaconhills College and this will bring up all the School Buses (PTV and DET services) operated by Ventura with the Route ID (example CT1) and a route map will be displayed.

Most services require a valid Myki card where students must touch on and off morning and evening.

Please note Bus Drivers are no longer handling cash so any top ups will need to be completed before travelling.

For new families applying for school bus travel and who live closer to the Berwick Campus, please review below information in relation to CT1 application process.

CT 1 Application Process

Please review below School Bus Programme (SBP) Application Forms (Eligible and Fare Paying) for the CT1 Bus, along with details of payment and application process from Berwick Secondary College who is the convening school.

Please also review the Department of Education at (https://www.education.vic.gov.au/school/teachers/transport/Pages/schoolbus.aspx) in relation to eligibility criteria to travel on the CT1 Bus.

For families applying for school bus travel and who live closer to the Berwick Campus, the students are assessed as “fare payers as they are bypassing their nearest school”.

The exception would be if the family lives in excess of 4.8km of the Beaconhills College Berwick Campus and have a closer bus service to Pakenham or alternatively, the student is unable to be enrolled in Berwick as the school has reached its capacity.

  • In both instances, the family would need to seek a letter confirming this from Beaconhills College and then submit this evidence with their application. Families would need to contact PakDailyOrg@beaconhills.vic.edu.au and you will receive a letter of exemption for the family.
  • Once the application form has been filled out and the letter of exemption attached, both would need to be emailed to Doble.James (Doble.James.r@edumail.vic.gov.au) with a copy also emailed to PakDailyOrg@beaconhills.vic.edu.au.

For fee paying travellers, payment of $120 per term, may need to be made upon discussions with the Bus Coordinator or emailing PakDailyOrg@beaconhills.vic.edu.au .
