Education Services Provider Child Safe Code of Conduct Acknowledgment and Registration Form

In line with the Child Safe Standards, It is a requirements of any education services providers to the College, that they and their staff, hold a valid Working with Children clearance (WWCC) or a current VIT registration is held, with details provided upon the booking by the College for your program.

You will be issued a "QuickPin" to confirm this registration process, which is valid for the calendar year of which the registration took place.

You will be required to complete this Child Safe registration process ONCE annually prior to your first visit from the College, or provision of services to any students (off campus) for that Calendar year.

Please complete this section with a list of those persons who will be undertaking the services provision for your business.

Please ensure the SURNAME detailed matches EXACTLY the WWCC details. (i.e. if your card is in your maiden name, then your SURNAME detailed must be your maiden name ).

Holders of VIT must also confirm that they have notified Working with Children Check Victoria of any child-related work they do outside of their school or early childhood service based position (whether paid or voluntary), and noted that Beaconhills College is the organisation this was undertaken at.

COVID-19 Vaccination Status: Applicable to programs or services being provided to staff or students at an OFF Campus school location (ie School Camp, or BEX program)

In line with the Government Health Directions issued for Education Facilities, in relation to mandatory COVID-19 Vaccinations for "workers" in an education setting, for the purpose of the Directions, it details that “workers” include:

  • Any person employed by the College to work in the College;
  • Any person contracted by the College and who may be in close proximity to children, students or staff, regardless if they are directly engaged by the College (including CRT’s, incursion presenters, contract IT personnel, NDIS providers, therapists, university pre-service teachers, and auditors - but does not include delivery personnel.);
  • Staff of the Department of Education and Training, or allied health personnel;
  • Any person undertaking a placement, or work experience, at the College as part of their formal education;
  • Volunteers that attend the College and that work in close proximity to children, students or staff (including parent volunteers, team managers or coaches);
  • Staff of any other entity who attend on campus at the College.
  • The College will review this, and note this information against your "quickpin" registration number within our visitor sign in system Passtab. You may be asked to provide a copy of your COVID Digital Certificate once, to provide confirmation of your vaccination status, in line with the Health Directions, this is permitted. All personal and health information collected will be stored, and managed in line with the College's Privacy Policy.     Child protection is everyone’s responsibility. At Beaconhills College the College Board members, the Headmaster, child safe officers, homestay families, volunteers, third party contractors and external education providers, have a shared responsibility for contributing to the safety and protection of children, including but not limited to understanding the:

    • individual and collective obligations and responsibilities for managing the risk of child abuse;
    • child abuse risk in the school environment;
    • the College's current child safe standards and reporting obligations
